Online Payment for VICOM Inspection Services

This facility allows you to pre-pay your VICOM vehicle inspection fee online using your Diners Club Card. Afterwhich, just proceed to any nearby VICOM/JIC inspection centre for your vehicle inspection.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. 1. I’m using a Diners Club/VICOM Cobrand Card, can I redeem my rebate when I pay via VICOM Online Payment?

    Yes, the rebate will automatically be deducted from the amount payable if Diners Club/VICOM Cobrand Card is used; (i.e redemption is only available if the rebate is available). The details of the rebate redemption will be shown on the payment screen and on the receipt upon successful payment. The rebate is only available for Diners Club/VICOM Cobrand Cardmember, for other types of Diners Club Card there is no rebate from VICOM, but Cardmember can earn Diners Club Rewards Points (CRP).

  2. 2. Why does the screen show that my card information cannot be found after I submit my card details?

    You might have keyed in one or more fields in an incorrect format. Please check the card number, Expiry Date and CVV are as per your Diners Club Credit Card issued in Singapore. Please also ensure that your Card has been activated and your mobile number is registered with Diners Club to receive the SMS for the one-time password (OTP).

  3. 3. I’m using a Singapore Diners Club Card, how do I register or update my mobile number?

    The mobile phone number that you registered with Diners Club Singapore will be the recipient of the SMS that contains the One-Time Password (OTP). If your mobile number is not yet registered or is not updated, the SMS OTP will not be sent to you and you cannot proceed with the transaction.

    For Diners Club Singapore Cardmembers who wish to update the mobile phone number, please update your contact details at: http://www.dinersclub.com.sg/en/feedback/updateinfo/index.asp or contact our Customer Service Hotline at 6571 0128 between 8.30a.m. - 10p.m. from Mondays to Fridays and 9a.m – 6p.m on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

    The information will be updated within 5 working days. Once the mobile number is updated in Diners Club database, the SMS-OTP will be sent to the new mobile number whenever you perform an online transaction with participating establishments.

  4. 4. I’m using a Diners Club Card that is not issued by Diners Club Singapore, can I still use my card to pay online?

    The VICOM Online Payment is open for cards issued by Diners Club Singapore only.

  5. 5. I’m using a Supplementary Diners Club Card, will I receive the SMS-OTP?

    Yes, you will be receiving the SMS-OTP whenever you transact online with participating establishments. The SMS-OTP will be sent to the mobile phone number that you registered with Diners Club Singapore.

  6. 6. What is One-Time Password (OTP)?

    An OTP is a password which will be sent to you via SMS on your registered mobile phone number for Singapore-issued Diners Club Card. This is an added security feature to guard you against online frauds and to ensure that the person doing the online purchase is the legitimate owner of the Card being used. This is in line with the recommendations from Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to implement 2FA for better online transaction security.

  7. 7. Is OTP required for all my online purchases at VICOM Online Payment?

    The OTP is required when you use your Diners Club Card at VICOM Online Payment.

  8. 8. Why am I not receiving the SMS-OTP?

    Your mobile phone might have a poor network signal or there is a network issue. You may click on the “Click here to re-generate your OTP” link for a new OTP to be generated and sent to you.

    You may also check the last 4 digits of the mobile number as shown on the screen to confirm if you are using the correct mobile number where the SMS was sent.
